The Dark Auction is an underground auction run by someone only known as “The Auctioneer”.
On a somewhat random schedule The Auctioneer will start a new auction, though he never seems to do auctions more frequently than every 12 hours or less frequently than every 3 days.
The auction is then split into 3 phases, Preview which lasts 4-12 hours, Bidding which lasts 4-16 hours, then ended which lasts 1-6 hours.
Bidding is quite simple, all you need to do is go to the auction house in Aether, located under the right side of the bank, then either run /darkauction (or /da), or click The Auctioneer.
Note: You can check the Dark Auction from anywhere by running /darkauction, you just need to go to Aether to bid.
From there, you can click on one of the scales to bid on that item.
If you bid with less than 15 seconds left on the timer, the timer will reset to 20 seconds.
After bidding the money will be taken out of your account and held until the auction ends.
If you have already bid then only the difference between your old bid and new bid will be taken from your account.
Once bidding is finished, anyone who did not win the bid will have their money returned.
Players who won the bid will have their items put into their inventory.
If your inventory is full the item will appear in your Ender Chest, or if both are full, will be dropped at your feet.
