How To Get Started On Nations
This is a world building server wish means that you are allowed to what ever you want in this fictional world we created using your imagination and tools we provide to help you build your story! There is multiple ways to start playing, here I will be giving you what we advise or for new players and some other play styles we have seen on the server to help you get inspired on what to do but in the most part we advise to try to be in a group rather than play it solo at least when you start.
Before getting started, make sure to check out the Rules!
You can also take a look at the list of all the Nations features and info.
If you are first time player, the first thing to do when you join the server is get a look around spawn and the wiki to collect some info, when you feel ready head to the flying boat at spawn to teleport to the main map.
You need to be aware of two really important things, your lives and reputation you can click on each of those to get more info about them!
Once you have the basic stuff what we would advise is that you try to join a land, you can see a land as a town/group of players to find one:
/lands list in game and search for a land that has “Recruiting Members” as its category click on it view the members and try to reach out to someone using /msg <player> to ask if you can join them!/discord in game, head to the advert channel and you should find a lot of groups that are promoting themselves in the channel, scroll up, choose one, join there Discord and ask how to join!It is highly encouraged that you join a land when starting out instead of trying to make your own or venture alone.
Once you are settled down you can start earning money through a variety of ways, some examples are:
If you're going to take part in PvP be double sure to check out the pages on Lives and Reputation!
As long as you have enough money to pay upkeep/taxes extra money is just nice, not required!
Don't feel like you need to become the richest player on the server to be succesful!
